As we all know, aspect ratio of the original video can not be changed easily. While if you wanna convert MTS videos for playing on big or widescreen TV, then you can change the aspect ratio during the conversion process via a professional third party program.
There are a lot of programs online for you to choose. What I used is Brorsoft MTS Converter for Mac (Windows version).
